We are blessed with amazing history in our region. During the Civil War many battles were fought in our region on both sides of the conflict. Today we talk a little about the Saltville Massacre and recommend a few books about the Civil War in our region.

She is a retired elementary school teacher and counselor and spends her time in many authors' guilds around the region, including the Appalachian Authors Guild.
